All regularly enrolled students (a regularly enrolled student shall be defined as any student registered and in good standing) of the University of Washington, Tacoma whom have paid supporting fees established by the Board of Regents, shall be members of the association. Active members are members who attend 2 general meetings and 1 event per quarter. Only members ofthe BSU shall be entitled to vote in any Association election, to represent the Association, or to hold any office controlled by the Association. A copy of the BSU Constitution must be distributed within one week of a member's request. BSU general membership is responsible for maintaining good attendance at all general membership meetings, keeping membership active at all sponsored events, and adhering to the BSU Constitution and Bylaws.

Section 1: Regular Membership: Regular Membership is open to all students at the university
without regard to age, sex, race, creed, or national origin. NW Collegiate Ministries will abide by
all anti-discrimination and anti-hazing policies of the university.

Section 2: Active Members: Active Members will have demonstrated regular attendance at NW
Collegiate Ministries meetings and events as well as a strong commitment to the mission and
message (including the Purpose Statement and the Statement of Faith) of NCM. Only Active
Members are eligible for leadership roles with NCM.

Section 3: Losing the Privileges of Membership: A member may lose the privileges of
membership, including the right to attend meetings and events under the following circumstances:
1. Causing disruption to the group or engagement in disorderly conduct or threats.
2. Posing a danger to other students.
3. Conduct rises to the level of harassment of another member of the group.

Under such circumstances, two or more members of the Student Leadership Team and at least
one NCM staff member will meet with the individual, share the concerns, and ask him or her to
leave the group. The accused member may then request a hearing before the full Student
Leadership Team. The President will then call a special leadership meeting. They will hear from
the accused member as well as other witnesses, confer, and make a decision regarding the
accused member’s membership rights. A majority vote will decide the issue.
