The AAPI THRIVE project, based within the Office of the Chancellor, works with various offices and units across the UW Tacoma campus to increase Asian and Pacific Islander student retention and engagement, develop and sustain culturally affirming curricula for students, offer equity-focused faculty development opportunities, and increase awareness of culturally-relevant mental health resources for AAPI communities.

The purpose of this organization shall be to foster and maintain a sincere interest in the field of accounting and to work with faculty, staff, alumni and the community to educate students about the accounting field and to aid students in the completion of their degree and securing a career in accounting. The mission of the Black Student Union is to nurture the development of University of Washington, Tacoma students through education, community service, campus involvement, and professional development. We aim to offer a sense of community and unity for Black students on campus by providing an open and positive forum for students to express their views concerning current events, academics, culture, and student life.

All regularly enrolled students (a regularly enrolled student shall be defined as any student registered and in good standing) of the University of Washington, Tacoma whom have paid supporting fees established by the Board of Regents, shall be members of the association. Active members are members who attend 2 general meetings and 1 event per quarter. Only members ofthe BSU shall be entitled to vote in any Association election, to represent the Association, or to hold any office controlled by the Association. A copy of the BSU Constitution must be distributed within one week of a member's request. BSU general membership is responsible for maintaining good attendance at all general membership meetings, keeping membership active at all sponsored events, and adhering to the BSU Constitution and Bylaws.

The syayəʔadiʔ will serve as a space for students to collaborate and rest in an environment that upholds the relations between community and the land we acknowledge.
